Furniture Warranty
 

Beyond Furniture ("the company") guarantees to repair or replace any part or the product ( "the goods") with a manufacturing or structural defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase("the warranty period"), this is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. The furniture must be cared for in accordance with the care instructions supplied by Beyond Furniture or labeled on the product. This warranty is also subject to the terms and conditions set out below:

1.This warranty is in addition to the rights granted by relevant State and Federal laws and in particular the Trade Practices Act 1974 and corresponding State Fair Trading legislation. The company’s liability is limited to the goods replacement only.

2.The warranty is extended to the original purchaser at the original delivery address.

3.The warranty shall become void if the goods are used as commercial or outdoor purpose or exposed directly to the sunlight, extreme heat or bright light such as sun lamps.auto accessories

4.No claim can be made by the purchaser under this warranty if:
* Any damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, negligence.
* Any damage caused by improper handling such as dragging the furniture or using corrosive solvent to clean the furniture.
* Any damage directly or indirectly caused by unprofessional assembling, unauthorized repair, alteration, modification or act of God.

5.The purchaser must at his/her expense return to the retailer or to an office of the company the defective goods with the proof of purchase. The company reserves the right to determine whether the goods shall be repaired or replaced.

6.There is a ten-year frame warranty on all Beyond Furniture sofas. Recliner and headrest mechanisms are covered by a two-year warranty.

7.The Company reserves the right to charge for any service not covered by this warranty.

 

Mattress Warranty

 

Beyond Furniture provides the mattress warranty to the original purchaser, against defects in materials (other than covering materials) and workmanship for 10 years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. The mattress must be cared for in accordance with the care instructions supplied by Beyond Furniture or labelled on the product. After confirmation of the defect by a mattress expert appointed by both parties, the purchaser can return the mattress to the vendor’s warehouse at the purchaser’s expense and Beyond Furniture will repair or replace the mattress at a price equal to 1/10 of the current price, multiplied by the number of years of service the mattress has provided (No cost applies if a defect is found within two years from purchase).This warranty is also subject to the terms and conditions set out below:

2.The warranty is effective whether the mattress is purchased separately or with a matching foundation, however, an improper foundation may void the warranty. Foundation must be supported by bed slats with the strength no less than Beyond Furniture standard bed slats and the slats spaced less than 7cm apart on a cross-based frame. A frame must have a minimum of four legs, glides, or rollers on queen beds and five on king beds. Warranty is void if the mattress and /or foundation has been burned, damaged, stained, or otherwise abused.

3.The warranty shall become void if the mattress is used for commercial or outdoor purpose or exposed directly to sunlight, extreme heat or bright light. No claim can be made by the purchaser under this warranty if any damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, negligence, any damage caused by alteration, modification or act of God.

4."Too hard or too soft" is a personal judgment which should be resolved at the time of purchase, it is not warranted. Upon inspection, any mattress found to be in an unsanitary condition will not be repaired or replaced and the warranty will be considered null and void.

5.This Warranty only covers regular users up to a weight of 100kg each person sleeping on the mattress, and if the depressions in the mattress is less than 25mm during the warranty period, it is normal wear and tear.

6.Repair or replacement is at the discretion of Beyond Furniture. Warranty is void if the labels are removed.

7.Proof of original purchase must be verified with Beyond Furniture’s Sales Order.

I have just completed the survey but would like to acknowledge again how professional, knowledgeable and friendly Michelle from Crows Nest store was - I have never had such great customer service and would definitely purchase from Michelle again. She did everything correctly and the whole process went very smoothly.

 

The delivery men were again fantastic. Nothing was a trouble to them. They set up our shelving professionally and when I asked if I could change my mind and have the lounge put in a different position (lounge was heavy) they just did it for me without hesitation - just fantastic and very clean - no mess, took off their shoes when they came in (new apartment and carpet) without me having to ask. I wish I could remember their names but the head fellow was from Allawah and very knowledgeable and enjoyed very much working for you as did Michelle so congratulations as not everybody these days can say that about the firm that employs them.

Hi there Michelle – understand that you were away on holidays when our stuff was delivered. Just wanted to drop you a note – the guys who did the delivery did an absolutely terrific job. They were very patient, worked extremely hard and very efficiently.

 

The head guy was “Wade” but can’t recall the other guy’s name. I don’t always think that these guys get the credit they deserve so thought it was worth dropping you a note - as you know access to our place is a challenge.

"I’m writing this letter to let you know about the positive experience I had with your organization. Everybody I had any dealings with in your company was friendly, professional and highly competent: the sales team, the staff in administration as well as the installers.

 

I have to single out Kirsten Moore. I recently bought an apartment in Rose Bay and decided to furnish the space from scratch, and looked to buy from a single store for the sake of creating a central theme, and for the sake of ease. I narrowed down my search to three stores whose furniture I liked, but became discouraged at the lack of sales assistance, design expertise, and total inflexibility when it came to matters such as delivery and installation times.

 

Almost as a last attempt to find a company I could feel comfortable with, I visited your Crows Nest shop with my partner, and was fortunate enough to be assisted by Kirsten Moore. All we had was our thoughts on what we wanted to achieve, and a floor-plan of the space. Kirsten advised us with skill and patience. She listened to us, and combined with her design expertise and suggestions, we were able to select everything we needed over the course of a few days. We were given an easy-to-understand spreadsheet that laid out what we had ordered, and when delivery could be expected. Kirsten accommodated us with delivery times and dates, and solved a few small problems that arose (inevitable with any big order) promptly, and always with good grace. She was always available to assist us (even on her days off) and was never difficult to contact.

 

I have lived in Australia for 12 years, and this is the first time I am writing a letter such as this. My experience with Kirsten and Beyond has been in such stark contrast with what I have experienced with many other companies, that I decided that I ought to write to you to say Thank You.

 

We are very happy with the quality, value and appearance of the Beyond furniture in our apartment, and are grateful for the positive interactions we had with the entire team at Beyond. "

the guys arrived with my furniture yesterday afternoon and put it together for me. They were very good and I'm really pleased with the results.
